Sharon Douglas, astrologer, writer, learning facilitator, and lover of life, lives on Kauai, one of the most pristine Hawaiian islands.

Sharon has degrees in psychology and education, but regards the four years she enjoyed at numerous consciousness raising centers such as Findhorn in Scotland, various Vipassana meditation centers, and Esalen in California as key in shaping her thinking. She continues to relish material on how we make sense of our unique unfolding stories.

Before becoming a traveling pioneer, Sharon had already started her inner pioneering in the corporate world in South Africa where she was responsible for designing and delivering leadership development programs.

Nowadays Sharon spends her time on Kauai writing and assisting self and others to live expanded and meaningful lives. Says Sharon, "Everything in the universe is connected. As the cosmos influences the seasons, the tides and nature, so does it influence us as human beings. Using astrology and mythology as tools, gives us a framework for exploring our current realities as well as our future dreams and aspirations. It provides a structure for understanding what may be happening to us, consciously or unconsciously, and of the choices that will help us reach our dreams."

Haipule is a Hawaiian word that means “to dream a new existence into reality”. Sharon’s work as a word and story artist aims to help men and women reach into themselves and create a new and enhanced life story.
